USC Project in APGD:

Our goal is the extraction of buildings in complex environments, where
complex can mean both complex single buildings and complex arrangements
of individual buildings.

To this end we use knowledge about the domain and the context from
other structures. The reaoning about whether image features are
buildings in done in 3-D rather than in the 2-D of the image.

The image shows the results using 2 views of a section of the
Fort Benning area. The extraction is a combination of automatic
processing and efficient interactive editing where only one or
two points are specified by the user.
