---- An online audio-visual chat application based on implementation of SAI
We demonstrate for two-way audio and video communication over the network. The application uses real-time lossless data compression to transfer each frame across the network. The audio and video synchronization is handled at the rendering end based on the time-stamp of each frame. The application is developed using the Modular Flow Scheduling Middleware (MFSM), an open source implementation of IMSCís Software Architecture for Immersipresence (SAI). The modularity of it is illustrated by integrating other audio/video processing algorithms within the application and two different types of data can be synchronized at the render end.
