Image Mosaic and Foreground Movies
Abstract
We present 2D image mosaicing, taking video streams as inputs.
The main target applications are panoramic photography, image compression and telepresence.
The method recovers affine/full-perspective parameters between scenes in real-time in Pentium II platform by considering
Fourier spectrum correlation and hierarchical feature-point matching techniques.
Also, we present foreground layers extraction from the mosaic by superimposing moving objects on the background mosaic.
The layers are extracted in time by using the mode value of the dynamically clustered input intensities.
