Registration of Retinal Images and
3D Reconstruction




D e s c r i p t i o n 


The objective is to develop a quantitative clinical diagnostic system that uses existing imaging modalities to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of the diagnosis and management of blinding retinal diseases, in particular AMD. In addition to addressing this critical need in clinical ophthalmology, the system will provide objective, reproducible phenotyping of disease that can be precisely correlated with disease genotypes to advance our understanding of fundamental disease mechanisms.

This is a R21/R33 Phase Innovation Award.
