The main research projects that I have been involved
in are the following:
Perceptual organization
Salient
feature inference in natural images
Figure
completion
Binocular stereo (integrating
monocular information)
Multiple view stereo
3-D face
modeling and recognition
Machine
learning (dimensionality estimation, nonlinear interpolation, function
approximation).

During the Spring
semester
of 1999, I worked as a Research Assistant at
SIPI in the Electrical Engineering
Department of USC doing research on Magnetic Resonance Imaging with
Professor
R. M. Leahy
For my undergraduate
diploma thesis I developed a plug-in for the 32-bit Windows version of
Netscape Navigator that decodes pyramid encoded images and extracts an
embedded watermark from them. The thesis was supervised by Professor M.
G. Strintzis
TEACHING
Guest lecture on “Tensor
Voting for Computer Vision Problems”, for the graduate level “Computer
Vision” course (Fall 2004)
Mentored undergraduate
students (a freshman and three juniors) performing research in computer
vision (Summer 2004 - Spring 2005)
