A Brief Introduction

Yeah, That is me at the Crater Lake which is famous for its blue color and water clarity !!!! Spectacular, ain't it??

I am Anustup and am a graduate student at the University of Southern California (USC) in the department of Computer Science. My advisor is Prof. Gerard Medioni and I am a research assistant in the Computer Vision Lab.

I am currently on the job market and am looking for positions related to Image/Video Analysis and Processing and in other topics such as Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning.

During the summer of 2011, I interned with Dr. Peter Van Beek and Dr. Andrew Segall at Sharp Laboratories of America in the Advanced Video and Display Technologies Department.

I got my MS in Computer Science from University of Southern California (USC) in 2007 following which I worked at Big Stage Entertainment Inc. (Ranked in top 20 amongst America’s most promising companies by Forbes magazine 2009) where we were involved in developing some really cool stuff. I did my undergraduate (B.E.) (Bachelor of Engineering) in Computer Engineering from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute of Technology, Mumbai which is under the affiliation of University of Mumbai.

I am interested in Artificial Intelligence especially in the areas of Image Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition.
